For many years, Carol was a volunteer and exhibitor at the Door County Fair. She shared her love of gardening throughout her life. Carol was a charter member of the Door County Master Gardeners Association and served as their Vice President in 2013. For many years, Carol drove school bus for both Manitowoc Public School District and Southern Door School District. On July 12, 1958, she married William Berglund. Boniface School and graduated from Lincoln High School in 1956. She was an inaugural 8th grade graduate of St. Carol was born Decemin Manitowoc, WI to Arvin and Loretta Zahorik. Visitation for Mark will be held at Kinnard Funeral Home in Casco on Wednesday, March 6th from 4pm-8pm, with evening prayer service at 7pm. He was preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Emily, his father-in-law and mother-in-law George and Eunice Romuald, his sister and brother-in-law Magdalene (Hamlin) Boucher, and his sister-in-law and brother-in-law Marie (Wilfred) DeGrave. He is also survived by 12.875 great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, his Godchildren Mary Voyles and Kelly Pinchart, and many nieces and nephews. Mark issurvived by his wife of 59 years, Mae, and his children and theirspouses: Dale (Kaori) Pinchart, Julie (Mark) Welter, Dan (Diane) Pinchart, Jacque (Jason) Wiese, and Jody (Greg) Veeser grandchildren Kevin Pinchart, Michelle (Brendan) Watson, Erin (Casey) Beyer, Stephanie and Rachel Welter, Ashly (Gary) Balza, Justin (friend Chantel) Pinchart, Emily (Bryson) Madden, Lucy, Sam and Andrew Wiese, Maegan (friend Joe) and Jeremy Glander, and Grant and Addie Veeser. This was especially true these past few years as his mobility became more challenging. Spending time with his family and friends enjoying an old fashion was important to him. He also attended the infamous Ice Bowl.Ī quiet, reserved man, Mark had few hobbies in life, but enjoyed many simple things. Mark was a Green Bay Packers fan, holding season tickets for many decades. He enjoyed NASCAR, cutting lawn and blowing snow on his John Deere, Gator rides, and meeting his friends at the local watering hole. Mark was a polka connoisseur! He enjoyed watching Mollie B, Polka! Polka! He spent 34 years working as a welder at Kewaunee Peter’s Catholic Church in Lincoln, and a member of theĬatholic Order of Foresters. Mark graduated from Casco High School in 1956.
